Eve Fineman & Henri Preiss, the creative mind behind the winning design Little Zig explains “The Little Zig light fixture is the second piece in a collaboration between European artist Henri Preiss and American designer Eve Fineman. This piece was developed by translating imagery from one of Preiss' abstract, geometric paintings, into a three-dimensional, functional table-top lamp. Preiss' concepts of earth and cosmos, ancient pasts and unknown futures, are realized in the lamp's glowing, cosmic shade and earthy, concrete base.
