Chao Zhao, the lead designer of the winning work Confucius Spring Feast explains “As a large scale public interest grand gathering, the logo of the first session of China (Shenzhen) Confucius Spring Feast is characterized with “春(spring)”, integrated with “孔子(Confucius)”, “子曰(Confucius says)”, and other Chinese characters, and modern and concise design techniques are adopted to express Chinese traditional visual cultural symbols of luckiness, grace, liberality, and completeness.
