Mark Zampini, the lead designer of the winning lighting design work Compose explains “We began with a concept that designers want light fixtures to disappear in space. The fixture is not meant to be a statement piece. Compose fills the space volumetrically without glare. Our proprietary optical system took over 2 years to develop. Compose projects light across the ceiling at near 100 lm/w efficiency, and delivers performance in the near field to avoid hotness and inconsistency when mounted as close as 6” from the ceiling.
