Li Chen, the lead designer of the winning furniture design work Twist explains “Ancient Chinese believed the theory of "a square earth and spherical heavens". The whole dinner set is about the interchange of round and square, earth and heaven, Yin and Yang. The bowl is twisted from round to square. The plate is twisted from square to round with a groove to hold chopsticks. The body of the chopsticks are twisted.
