François Hurtaud, the creative mind behind the winning design Elemental explains “MYKU creates revered timepieces from semi-precious stones using top-of-the-line techniques. Using a variety of onyx which features alternating layered bands of milky white agate and black formed through natural rhythmic crystallisation in volcanic rock, each dial is individually crafted by precise polishing of the top layers to reveal the beauty within, meaning no two pieces are ever identical.
