Alex T Schulz, the creator of the award winning design Mesoglea says “"Mesoglea" is a concept for a 3 d printed cup. Its form is inspired by deep sea creatures, the Mesogleae, to which also the Medusae belong. Similar top their translucent body plan, the cup has ac piece in the inner cavity that can hold a solid piece of your long drink, like a lemon for example. As the lemon is fixed by this central piece, the dissolution inside the drink is accelerated.
