Annie Wu, the designer of the award winning work Buttonwood says “Ms. Annie Wu and her professor collaborated on the project for a year from the concept to the execution. Buttonwood is a café and bakery located on main street in Pleasanton, California. The name and the packages of the cafe and bakery were inspired by the original name of the town after the sycamore tree. The patterns contain hand drawn leaves and pastries sold in the shop, intricately woven together.
