KAZ Shirane, the creative mind behind the winning work Light Origami explains “Light Origami is an unique interactive art installation. Viewers are invited to explore the nature of reality by entering a giant 3D kaleidoscope. The domed structure is bathed in light and is constructed using over 330 mirror panels. Changing spectrums of light are projected within the space, and when mirrored against the mirror panels, the effect is like being inside a kaleidoscope. The interior space is spread eternal without edge of space.
