Sen Huang, the creative mind behind the winning project Extend. Extending explains “Home is a place where generations and memories are continuously extended, one after another. The tree is a metaphor implying vital extension of the home. The seed of love is planted, sprouted and grown into trunk. The trunk abstractly grows into the home as it signifies life is extended from outside to inner space.
