Sheng-Hung Lee, the designer of the award winning single-use product design work Toilet Paper Roll Redesign says “Many times people are unconsciously prone to place their toilet paper rolls on random surface without being aware that the bottom of such can catch serious germs, bacteria and dust. The focus of this concept was to redesign the toilet paper roll that can be easily converted into a roll holder. The roll is made out of disinfected and recycled paper and a compressible structure therefore reducing waste. The design draws the public attention to care more about the hygiene and environmental protection issue.
