Hakan Gürsu, the lead designer of the winning design Tentative explains “Tentative is a smart compact post disaster shelter tent. A simple yet innovative tent is a way to bring fast practical shelter to emergency disaster victims; the collapsible tent is flat packed for easy transport and is suitable for all climates and only an hour to pop up with necessary few tools. The compact disaster shelter is made of a fiber and a durable weather resistant textile which is quilted sewed and consists thermally insulated perlite in between.
