The confrontation of rusted iron with gold, silver and gemstones does not only contribute complementary aesthetical increase of those materials but also produces a new synthesis. The brooch does convey a certain meaning. Private Collection talks about elapsing time. Everything will destroy but you also see what geologic ages on earth can produce, the boulder opal symbolizes that.
