Noushin Jafari, the lead designer of the winning urban planning design work Wild Ribbon explains “To animate the eastern area (La place de la nation) of Paris,a system of a connected ribbon who self adapts in it's functional aspects facing each corner of this big important square ( which connects Paris to it's eastern suburb) has been developed, this ribbon goes down with people into the subway area in all levels with the function of stair railing and makes spaces beside the trains , comes up and makes moves on the ground to make compatibles spaces with every part the square,as well as benches and etc.Spaces ,adapted geographically and sociologically to that area of the site” To learn more visit at: https://competition.adesignaward.com/design.php?ID=36541
