The chair integrates wood and plywood in a unique way, as the changing direction of the grain gives the chair a subtle yet distinctive character. The plywood seat and dowel legs give an extra springiness to the chair, while the wood front edge provides a soft touch for the back of the knees. The connection between the plywood seat and the legs is shown whereas it is normally hidden.
