AIKATERINI - NIKI GLINOU, the designer of the award winning jewelry design work Felt spirals says “The necklace is made with handmade felt spiral beads. Every bead is rolled separately by hand. The beads are sewn together with coated stainless steel wire which is a very strong material suitable for jewellery. The finishing of the necklace is silk cord. The cord is attached to the beaded part of the necklace with wire, thread and felt pieces. Sometimes hard beads are being used to complete the design. Due to its material the necklace is lightweight and can easily change position on the bust.
