Lili Gendelman, the lead designer of the winning project Tri explains “Tri is a wooden construction toy that offers the possibility of creating unlimited shapes. It combines the tradition of wooden toys with contemporary design. Classic carpentry meets today's sustainable materials, technologies and techniques. It is both a creative game, made for fun, and a design object created to inspire art lovers. Tri prompts imagination, motor skills, decision-making and concentration. It explores geometry, balance and spatial composition.
