Wu yao, the lead designer of the winning graphic design work Beijing Happy Valley explains “The two illustrations attempt to combine multiple styles such as New Chinese style and Pop. The project has too many elements and designers hope to put these elements in a reasonable and harmonious way within the same visual system. The other design style is bolder with more vivid color contrast on top of ensuring the completeness of the picture bringing greater visual impact to people.
