Xuhui Guo, the creator of the award winning work Rebirth of The Rust Belt says “The conference center of the Global Industrial Internet Conference is located in Shenyang, a traditional heavy industry city which known as the Rust Belt in China. The building is a part of effort to revive the city. It mainly divided into two parts, the conference part and the exhibition part. The conference part is designed in a cylindrical shape, which has a similar volume and texture to the factory facilities that once existed in the area.
