Han Mei, the creator of the award winning furniture design Erhu says “Inspired by Erhu, a traditional Chinese classical instrument, Erhu's unique timbre is presented in the form of seats by interpreting the intangible with the tangible, the design incorporated national culture as a language of modern furniture, exploring a new style of contemporary Chinese furniture. The structure is so simple that there are only two parts: seat surface and legs.
