A' International Design Award and Competition is pleased to share that the packaging design Wine and Chess by Laurent Prosperi and Frederic Chaput has been honored with the renowned A' Design Award in Packaging Design Category marked as the winner by the transnational jury members of the A' Design Awards & Competitions within a great number of nominated projects.

Andrei Filatov, the lead designer of the winning packaging design Wine and Chess explains “Wine and Chess Case combines a wine case with a chess game. When the cover of the case is turned upside down, it reveals a chessboard alternating red and cream squares corresponding to the brand colors of the producer - Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs and its wine collection. The leather covering the external faces is also of a brand red color. The case is functional: it contains 6 bottles that are safely nestled in the special niches. There are also two spaces for the bags with chess pieces inside.
