KAO, YU-JOU, the designer of the award winning interior design work Pattern of Nature says “For this project, there is no pillar in the nearly 200Sqm space. The structure relies on thick beams like spider web structure to carry the entire space. Without the pillars, it is important to think carefully about the response of the ceiling and reduce the pressure caused by the beams through the design.
