Tianwen Sun, the lead designer of the winning project Ningbo Zhonghai explains “Ningbo Zhonghai project aims to find a balance between modern and traditional romanticism of the freehand ink painting. By using light and shadow to find the black and white balance, and by using the direction of the materials to give people a sense of direction and space. It's a design with implicit details.
