Lian Mengfei, the lead designer of the winning project Lian explains “Lian is based on the research of the current situation of China's education development and investigation of the dilemma and demand of Chinese students. Student designers take the image of ripples in ancient Chinese poems as the inspiration of the design. Users can move the work surface flexibly and combine the chairs freely according to their needs.
