Shinjiro Heshiki, the lead designer of the winning design Nago Pineapple Park Winery explains “The huge object designed in the atrium space forms a focal point with its overwhelming presence. Made of steel, the object is reminiscent of a pineapple wine brewing machine. Heikki Shinjiro imagined a space that would symbolize the next 100 years of Okinawa, a time of transformation for the facility.
