A' International Design Award and Competition is delighted to share that the design Yizheng Comprehensive Gymnasium by The Architectural Design & Research Institute of Zhejiang University Co., Ltd, Wang Xiaodong, Hu Huifeng, Li Ping, Jiang Yuanmin, Yang Yincan, Zhao Yanqiu, Feng Baile and Wu Xuhui has been announced as a laureate of the famous Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Category highlighted as the winner by the transnational jury members of the A' Design Awards & Competitions within a great number of submitted works.

Regarding Yizheng Comprehensive Gymnasium

U A D, the lead designer of the winning design Yizheng Comprehensive Gymnasium explains “Apart from the large volume, the facade uses the construction method of fixed ceramic panels and the facade of the main building is made of carmine ceramic rods. It's an original construction method. After many times of meticulous 1:1 experiment, the construction technology integrates complex functions in a simple way, hence creating transparent effects of the curtain wall and a unique and warm image of gift box.
