Aleksandra Toborowicz, the creative mind behind the winning cultural heritage design work Radiomural explains “Picture of an old Grundig radio in Nurnberg. The mural visually resembles the scale of the radio from the 70s / 80s, with photoluminescence letters, giving the effect of glowing in the dark, which resembles a radio turned on. The radio is 'turned on' the Langwasser district in Nuremberg. The other place-names on the radio scale are the residents' favorite places characteristic for this district (dark green) and their countries of origin (light green).
