T.K. CHU DESIGN, the lead designer of the winning interior design Hangzhou Eastern Garden explains “Hangzhou Eastern Garden is located in Hangzhou, China. A private music room located on the upper floor illuminates the whole project. For the purpose of guaranteeing the best acoustical environment, the sofa originally in the music room was moved backwards to the hallway. Before reform, the original shear wall and stairs broke the integrity and liquidity between the dining room and the living room.
