What we seek from Press Partners?
We want to accomplish our primary mission of promoting good design. Our primary target, when working with media, publishers and influencers is to feature good designs and award winning works. First of all; we want to advertise, promote, highlight and recognize our winners and their excellent design works. That’s why, most of the content we are interested in are about simply promoting our winners and their projects.

Promoting A' Design Award winner works is a win-win case for your publication; because A' Design Award winning projects are usually very good, highly aesthetic, pleasant and original design projects that your audiences would be interested to see, read, watch or share. Indeed, in almost all cases, publishers have told us that the A' Design Award content outperforms their regular content in engagement metrics for virality; sharing, bookmarking, liking and so on. Plus, we are offering benefits for the publishers, media and influencers to cover for their time.

Another benefit is that since A' Design Award is organized in multiple categories, we are able to provide tailor-fit content. We are also able to provide template articles and content suggestions and if you decide to become a press partner, you will also have a concierge that will help you with everything related to A' Design Award.

Finally, in each feature, we also need to advertise and promote A' Design Award itself; we need to craft each content in a way to include a call for entries and call for action to take part in the A' Design Award for the sake of sustainability and continuity of the A' Design Award programme.

In the end, we would like to inquire if we can run up to 10 (ten) sponsored posts, content segments and/or editorial articles for our call for entries and results announcement of award winning designs at your media. We ask you to write the articles or prepare the content yourself to ensure that the end-content matches the tastes and style preferences of your audience.

What we offer in return to Press Partners?
(1) Monetary compensation or financial support: We will pay you money for publishing or preparing content in advance but we will also ask you to make a proper invoice; we will discuss the amount together. (2) Press Partner Benefits such as nomination tickets, press partnership certificate and merchandise kit. (3) The Prestige and possibility to become an A' Design Award juror. (4) Cross-promotion; publishing and promoting you as our Press Partner; sharing your articles with our audience, promoting in our newsletter, social media and press partners page etc.

Important: When bargaining with us for the price, please give us your cheapest possible price for making our collaboration possible, before you give us a price quote please allow us to share some eight very appealing reasons why you should provide us the lowest price possible: 1) We will pay in advance for all the posts or content, you will get all the money almost a year in advance, 2) we are very highly likely to renew this partnership every year if the pricing is good – more than 50 percent of our press partners we are already working for over ten years, since we first started this initiative.. 3) our content is actually very relevant; indeed most of our posts attract more readers than regular content, this is as noted by the publishers themselves 4) some of our posts are viral and will be shared much more than regular posts and we work with many great publishers like yours 5) we are probably one of the few really good design awards that actually spend resources to advertise its winners, we designed most of the content around advertising winners, featuring good designs, and we think our content perfectly matches your own; 6) our content is all about award winning designs that you would most likely normally feature all by yourself anyways if you had the opportunity to see them, 7) we like your work! We believe we have a common goal of promoting good design worldwide. 8) please do not send us your regular price; make us a price quote that you would make to your best friend; in the end we want to help some great designs get published and promoted, these award winning designs match your audience perfectly, the content is super relevant, aesthetically appealing and beautiful; they will look great at your media, the content will also get good hits, interaction, reads and shares; we need your help to get these good designs published and promoted so that we could achieve our goal of promoting good design and creating a global appreciation and understanding of good design!

We do not need all the possible content; earlier we had mentioned 10 (ten), however the following five (5) content at the following dates are important for us: (1) May 1 - Results Announcement, (2) February 7 - Late Call for Entries, (3) February 15 - Last Call for Entries, (4) June 15 - Early Call for Entries, (5) September 15 - Call for Submissions. If you can only do three (3) the following are important: (1) May 1 - Results Announcement, (2) February 7 - Late Call for Entries, (3) February 15 - Last Call for Entries. If you have opening in your schedule we usually book eight (8) as follows: (1) May 1 - Results Announcement, (2) February 7 - Late Call for Entries, (3) February 15 - Last Call for Entries, (4) June 15 - Early Call for Entries, (5) September 15 - Call for Submissions, (6) January 7 - World Design Rankings, (7) October 15 - Round-Up (8) December 15 - Round-Up Content.

Even if you don't become a press partner, please let us know your complete address so that we could ship you a magnificent press kit that contains yearbooks, little trophy for press members, our merchandise, bags and other goodies from Italy, at no obligation. We would also be happy to provide several complimentary nomination tickets to your publication so that you, your friends or your readers could benefit from it.

You could see these specific call for entries together with their visuals and graphics here: https://competition.adesignaward.com/design-award-call-for-nominations.php
  6. The most important link for you for preparing this content would be the Press Kits page which provides a list of design award winners for a specific category. From this page you can see all time top winners of the category or recent winners. https://competition.adesignaward.com/press-packs.php
  7. Please feature from 10 to 20 award winning designs from the category you choose, if you could feature 20 or more designs, you are truly golden! Indeed, our research and analysis show that content with more award winning designs are shared more, and add more value to publications, so it is a win-win situation to feature as many designs as possible. When you feature a design, we send an email to the featured designer and ask them to share your content, furthermore we also share all content at our own social networks and we link to all the content!
  8. When featuring award winning designs, the best practice is to include Design Name, Design Function and the Designers’ Name as a caption under the image. Photo & Image Credits are available at design detail pages as well as press kit page. It is further preferred if your readers could click on the designs to learn more about that specific design. Linking to design description page at A' Design Award is highly welcome but not obliged.
  9. With this content we want to achieve two important things; first we want to get our award winning designers featured, and second we want to also use this content as an opportunity to reach out new and prospective participants, therefore if you could mention at the bottom as well as at top of the content (two times), a link to registration, with a call to action such as “register today” that would be very relevant. https://competition.adesignaward.com/registration.php
  10. At the bottom or at the end of the content, if you could provide a link such as “see more award winning design” that would be great, indeed you could even link to our http://designmag.org page where we list winners from all categories.
  11. When linking to A' Design Award you could use either https://competition.adesignaward.com or http://www.designaward.com whichever you prefer. But please have one link to us, using A' Design Award as the anchor text.

Post Title : Best of the Best in A' {Category Name} Design Award

  1. Content / Comments: This content is about featuring platinum and gold A' Design Award winners from a design competition category of your choice.
  2. Please check the category winners and select ten (10) designs you like. For category-based winner list see press packs here : https://competition.adesignaward.com/press-packs.php
  3. When featuring designs, please link to the designers' profile or account where your audience could discover more designs by the featured designers, artists, and architects. It is important to provide name and surname of the designer and the name of the project as a caption. If you have possibility, you could also mention what the featured projects are, such as by an executive summary.
  4. Please start the content by introducing A' Design Award, especially its benefits. You can see list of benefits here at Design Prize page https://competition.adesignaward.com/design-award-prize.html we have many benefits, you can choose some of the most important ones (please choose at least three benefits that would matter to your audience).
  5. One important benefit we want to mention in this particular content is that award-winners also get featured and promoted at Designers.Org http://designers.org
  6. Participants can get a free design score https://competition.adesignaward.com/design-score.html if they upload their project. We provide the free design score without any legal obligations, in a confidential way, and without requesting any payment. Indeed this is a huge benefit.
  7. Deadline is on February 28th. It is better to submit earlier because we provide tips and ideas to improve the design presentations.
  8. Please ask your audience to create a free account at https://competition.adesignaward.com/award-registration.php and upload their designs today to get a free, confidential design score without any obligations to proceed with nominating their design. This call to action could preferably repeat twice, one in the beginning and once in the end of the content.
  9. Remark that winners for the next edition will be announced on May 1st on A' Design Award website.
  10. Please keep the content permanently, include in your newsletters and push and promote to your subscribers as well as your social media followers.
  11. Thank you very much for your time and efforts. The better the article, the more value for you and us. We trust your taste for choosing the designs to feature; also another reason why we ask you to choose what to feature is to be fair to participants; better designs get a higher chance of being featured, it is meritocratic.
  12. Just in case, if you would want to mention, we have a really good award jury - see here http://www.awardjury.com/ and we follow a very established, very fair, blind-peer review process, https://competition.adesignaward.com/methodology.html together with preliminary scoring and consultancy system https://competition.adesignaward.com/preliminary-checks.html all these aspects make A' Design Award not only very fair but also very prestigious.
  13. And of course, if you like you can mention a few winners also from other categories, here they are : https://competition.adesignaward.com/award-winners.php
  14. For the link to A' Design Award please use http://designers.org/design-awards.php

Post Title : Top 20 A' Design Award Winners

  1. Content / Comments: This is a round-up content that features top 20 A' Design Award winners from various years. You can focus on a specific category or you can feature winners from all or a selection of categories. Our aim with this content is to honour the very best artists, architects and designers once again by featuring their work.
  2. Please start the content by a paragraph that explains the A' Design Award. To communicate the scope and structure of the award, we believe you will benefit highly from five pages; Call for Entries, Results Announcement, The Jury, Award in Numbers and the Design Prize.
  3. You can get a brief about the competition at our call for entries page, this brief also includes editorial text that you could use to communicate or explain the competition: https://competition.adesignaward.com/call-for-entries.html
  4. You can learn about last edition results as well as access more editorial copy that explains the design accolade at Results Announced page: https://competition.adesignaward.com/results-announced.php
  5. The Jury page could be relevant to communicate the quality of the award, because a large, qualified design award jury ensures the competition is prestigious, fair as well as relevant:  https://competition.adesignaward.com/jury.html
  6. The Award in Numbers page could further be used to communicate the scope of the competition. We got some great numbers here: https://competition.adesignaward.com/in-numbers.php
  7. The Design Prize page is also very relevant to prospective participants and designers. A' Design Award promises one of the World’s largest design prize in terms of publicity and advertising for its laureates, in addition to dozens of freebies and gifts to laureates. https://competition.adesignaward.com/design-prize.html
  8. For us, the initial explanation of the design award is really important because while we organize one of the World’s leading design accolades and spend almost all our budget on advertising and promoting our laureates, we do not have a proper channel to communicate our own qualities, and we believe this content is an opportunity for us to also explain what A' Design Award is about, so we truly need your support to help us communicate the good values embedded within the A' Design Award.
  9. That being said, the remaining part is simple: If possible please visit http://designmag.org which lists winners from various years and please choose 20 design award winners to feature. If you need high-resolution images for these award winning designs, you could get press accreditation here at https://competition.adesignaward.com/press-manual.php getting press accreditation is indeed a very good idea as you will also receive gifts every year together with a list of our latest laureates!
  10. When featuring winners please provide a link to the design page at A' Design Award whenever possible, please also always mention the name of the design as well as the designer, some publications just feature designs but we should also put the designers’ names because the value of the content increases for our laureates if their names are featured; this way interested parties could reach out to laureates and we could create value for our winners.
  11. We absolutely trust on your editorial capacity for all text and selection of the designs. We truly believe in meritocracy, please feature only the designs that you think are good and great match for your publication. We do not want to send a list of our favourites because we believe in equal opportunity and we want to be fair to all participants.
  12. Finally, please include a link & call to action at the beginning and/or at the end of the content that states that the competition is now open for entries. https://competition.adesignaward.com/call-for-entries.html
  13. Please also include a link & call to action at the beginning and/or at the end of the content that says that the registrations can be made at https://competition.adesignaward.com/registration.php
  14. Please also include a link & call to action at the beginning and/or at the end of the content that and that: You would feature a selection of best projects on May 1st at your publication once the results are made public.
  15. This post should be in the newsletter and stay permanently as a post.
  16. Last but not least, sincerely, thank you very much for your valuable time and efforts for both reading this lengthy brief as well as featuring our laureates, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help or materials.
