Inspired by the natural landscape of Emirates, Drift captures the essence of the place through its ceramic wall panels. The linear pattern mimics sand ridges and curved lines formed by the interaction with wind, translating the landscape's topographical contouring into fluid geometry.

The ceramic wall panels stand on their own and develop patterns of visual continuity through modulation, offering a maximum degree of customization with minimum use of construction elements.

Utilizing the patented DYS on-demand decoration service by Iris Ceramica, Drift turns ceramics into an authentic art form, combining abstract and geometric designs through innovative printing possibilities.

The Active Surfaces natural materials combine science and design to improve wellbeing in spaces people live in, with antibacterial and antiviral properties certified to ISO standards, degrading bacteria and viruses including SARS CoV2.

Encountering movement and plasticity, vibrations and pulses activate surfaces, complementing ceramic slab texture and tactility, adding personality and distinctiveness in domestic habitat.

Drift was made in Dubai, reflecting the unique local geography and heritage, with applications ranging from small to large scale, forging a strong link with the material extracted from the earth.

Functionality defines the aesthetics of Drift, using new techniques to reinterpret eternal themes, combining modern design with the simplicity of shape, and addressing urban planning, architecture, and industrial design with a focus on sustainability and cultural importance.
