Last and Omega Entry Periods

Prelude
It is possible to submit and nominate new works to A’ Design Award and Competition after the late deadline of entries and deadline extension during Last Entry (March 7th to March 30th) and Omega Entry (April 1st to April 7th) periods by purchasing special entry tickets which costs more than regular nomination fees.

Joining during Last or Omega entry periods do not change your chances of victory and you would still get preliminary scores during these periods. Entry fees increase with each entry period. Last Entry Period fees are higher than Late Entry Period fees. Omega Entry Period fees are higher than Last Entry Period fees.

Furthermore, every year, from March 7th to March 15th, there is a possibility of a Grace Period. If a Grace Period is announced; you would be able to purchase Late Entry Period nomination tickets with Late Entry Fees instead of Last Entry Fees. Last Entry Period (March 7th to March 30th)
The Last Entry period is usually from March 7 to March 30 of each year, however the Last and Omega entry time periods can be altered in cases when the Gala-Night or Exhibition is scheduled at an earlier date than usual. Any Last Entry deadline updates will be communicated at the top of this page. The nomination fee asked from participants during Last Entry nomination period is slightly higher when compared to nomination fees during the Late Entry period. To make an entry during the Last Entry Period, the Last Entry Nomination Ticket shall be purchased. It is important to note that, during the Last Entry Period discounts for High Preliminary Score or distinguished designer program might or might not be available. Furthermore, newly bought regular nomination tickets cannot be used within the Last Entry period to complete a nomination, however in most cases we would approve earlier bought nomination tickets to be used and since the jury could potentially already be voting on entries during this period, any eventual express evaluation or judging services that might be required are already included in the Last Entry fees. How to Join during the Last Entry Period?

Omega Entry Period (April 1st to April 7th)
The Omega Entry period is usually from April 1 to April 7 of each year, however the Last and Omega entry time periods can be altered in cases when the Gala-Night or Exhibition is scheduled at an earlier date than usual. To make an entry during the Omega Entry Period, an Omega Entry Nomination Ticket shall be purchased. It is important to note that, during the Omega Entry Period, discounts might or might not be available for high Preliminary Score or distinguished designer programs. It should also be noted that, regular nomination tickets cannot be used within the Omega Entry period to complete a nomination. How to Join during the Omega Entry Period?

Important Information
Entry during the Last and Omega Entry periods do not affect the Digital Edition participants except for higher entry fees, however for Professional Edition Entrants, entry during Last and Omega Entry period could potentially result in the following deliverables not provided due to time constraints: Hard Cover Yearbook, Yearbook Inclusion, A3 Certificate and A3 Poster of Entries, Customized Gala-Night Badge, Gala-Night Screen Presentation of the Winner, Customized Exhibition Stickers and other similar items that require advanced planning or production especially if the Gala-Night and Exhibition would be shortly after the results announcement, otherwise we would also provide these services as usual. Furthermore, it is good to remember that last minute travel fees can be higher, therefore you might actually consider as a Last and Omega Entry period participant, to join Digital Edition instead. After Late or Omega Entry Period
After Omega Entry nomination period, it is no longer possible to take part in this years’ competition to benefit from the results announcement on April 15. If you miss deadline, Late Entry and Omega Entry period, you could still join anytime and purchase Express Evaluation and Judging Service after submitting and nominating your entry, using Express Evaluation and Judging Service you will learn results earlier without waiting for a complete year, however if you win, you will be announced as a winner of the following year and your award status will indicate the information of the next year and you would be listed among the winners of next edition not this edition. Furthermore, it is good to know that you might be interested in First Bird or Early Bird entry periods.
