The origin of Pang Yu Kuo ’s designs cares about people's lives. He aims to creates the taste and the interest for life, adding five sense experiences:sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste to his designs. Therefore, His design team advocate the concept of American sociologist Ray Oldenburg, the "third space" which in Ray Oldenburg’s book "The Great Good Place" in 1989. The Pang Yu Kuo’s design team, they are try to create the spaces (apart from home and office) that people would like to stay and communicate between public and private fields.
