PAD is a French design studio based next to Paris. Founded in 2018 by two high school friends, Philippe ARNAUD & Alexandre BERNELIN, the studio’s credo is: a seamless user experience is built from the first design sketch to the point of sale. Following this philosophy, PAD proposes a one stop shop experience to its clients. PAD does industrial design, develops, and produces its client’s products. This approach of design business mixed with great in-house talents, gives PAD a quite unique space in the design studio ecosystem. “The best way to demonstrate our work quality is to take industrial risks side by side with our client” says founders. PAD designs and produces a wide range of products, from a 3D printed stethoscope to military communication devices for French army. “Our business perspectives are really good, we are developing our business over Europe and Asia. In 2020, we have created a new interior design business unit, the beginnings are very promising and we will keep developing this part of business in the coming years.” Beside industrial design and interior design, PAD also offers graphic design services with the same “one stop shop” spirit. “Graphic design is key for our business, some of our clients contact us for identity design and finally entrust us for the full development of product or service.” says Philippe Arnaud. Trust of client is the most important thing for PAD team members. More than a supplier, they like to be defined as client’s partner. If partnership is one of the key word at PAD, founders also consider their social and ecological responsibilities. “Our role is to make money but the pride of working on a project which can be a game changer for society or for the planet is even better.
