Designer Mr. Ip Suen Hang, Ronno, working in jewelry design and production over 17 years, combining his experience in design and production with his unlimited creativity, he has received several awards in the Hong Kong and International Jewelry Design competition. In the past 10 years, he have been traveling around the world for exhibition and business and found that his city are lack of special gifts and souvenirs representing to Hong Kong. Therefore in 2011, he have set up a company “Hong Kong Oapes” – By use of superb craftsmanship of jewelry design to promote the Hong Kong traditional culture. Up to now, by using his flexible and creative ideas, spirit of courage to challenge, he has created numbers of jewelry souvenirs collection to presenting the Hong Kong local unique culture and characteristic. On the other hand, he also be a part time instructor for jewelry design in the Hong Kong Baptist University, the School of Continuing Education, to teach the jewelry design drawing skill and developing creative concepts. As a part in nurturing the next generation to get involve in jewelry industries in Hong Kong. His goal is through his design as a bridge to promote Hong Kong unique culture and heritage.
