Shintaro Fujiwara founded the Osaka-based firm FujiwaraMuro Architects in 2002, which is known as one of leading firms of narrow residential architecture in Japan. He is known for designs with clean modernist elements such as white, gray, and natural wooden surfaces made of glass, stucco, painting, and wooden materials. He won ABB Leaf awards 2019 best residential building - single occupancy with "House in Toyonaka".
