Maiko Nagayama is an award winning Japanese born London jewellery designer. She was born and raised in Tokyo and consequently inspired by her father's architecture works, human behavior in the city, new technology and scientific discoveries. Maiko developed her passion for design and art making from a very young age, peeling off wall paper and creating shapes in her bedroom and always drawing quietly. Her British sojourn since 1999 broadened her mind. She graduated BA Jewellery design in Cenral Saint Martins in 2006 and GIA G.G. in 2009. She established her own fine jewellery brand in the same as she became graduated gemologist. Her brand brings a new sense of identity to fine jewellery industry.
