Elias Pfuner is a young, talented designer from Austria. With his work he draws a bow from elegance to functionality. Thereby he never loses sight of the user. To the contrary, usability always has top priority for him and sometimes even builds the base of his projects. Probably this aspiration is caused by his internship as a paramedic in his hometown Salzburg. That's where he discovered his passion for design. For his design education he moved to Linz, Austria. There he recently finalized the Bachelors programme Industrial Design. During his design internship at form2, an international operating design studio in upper Austria, he could gain hands on experience in the traditional Product - and Industrial Design. Which led to an excellent Bachelor thesis, which has already been published in a few blogs. His next step was an internship at the User Experience Lab of Robert Bosch Power Tools Gmbh in Stuttgart, Germany. Currently he is in the Chicago studio of IDEO completing an internship.
