A toy that doubles as two was our inspiration for creating our Kinderfeets Pram and Walker. Dutch designed and retro inspired. Made of birch wood and the sides are painted beautifully in soft white. Both a baby walker and pram, it’s the perfect walker to get babies comfortable taking their first steps. As baby perfects the trade of walking, you can easily remove the purple pegs, turning it into a pram.
Oscar Mulder’s passion for design developed while he was living in his native Holland and Italy in the early 1990s. In 1996 he graduated Cum Laude and with Appreciation from The Academy of Art University in the United States and started working with the notable designer Primo Angeli, regarded by many as the father of branding and packaging design. Oscar developed and thrived as a design director under Primo’s influence, to execute global programs for Kraft, Nestle, Intel, Lipton, Sara Lee among others. Oscar developed an eye tuned to changing consumer trends, and incorporated the constantly evolving nature of packaging into his own design practice. His work is considered forward thinking. Oscar left the firm eventually and formed his own practice soon after. Building on this, he founded Mulder Design in 2011 with a goal to offer outstanding packaging design that makes sense to the brand and consumer. Oscar’s work has been recognized for many awards including the Italian AI Award and the Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum International Museum of Architecture and Design.
Kinderfeets® is the product of award-winning designer and Netherlands native, Oscar V. Mulder. Inspired by traditional Dutch bikes, Kinderfeets is a play on words for the Dutch word “kinderfiets” which translates to “child’s bike.” The entire Kinderfeets product line encourages children to live an active, adventurous lifestyle alongside their parents. They allow children to use their imagination wildly—as the whole line encourages multiple uses and grows along with the child.
