A commercial refurbishment project that transformed a narrow rectangular indoor space into an open-air night street scene. Inspired from Van Gogh’s masterpiece, The Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum, the starry sky and light reflection are paramount; therefore, in this bar design, numerous of reflective light sources are used to shape a bright street of the night, and the retro-inspired color palette mixed with mystic bluish-green also connects to the renowned painting. This bar is a dare-to-dream figure in modern transcreation.

In the spring of 2016, a design studio was set up in the old apartment in the middle of the mountain in Wenshan, Taipei. Therefore, the studio is named after Wen Shan Hills Design Studio, architectural design, interior design and exhibition design is the main service business. We believe that design can change the world and hope that the world can be a bit different because of our design. We use aesthetics to solve the functional needs, and take the healthy green design as the main axis to create a space that combines aesthetics, function and green design to achieve the ultimate goal of maximizing space value and environmental sustainability.
