Termalija Family Wellness is the latest in the series of projects which Enota has built at Terme Olimia in the last fifteen years and concludes the complete transformation of the spa complex. Viewed from a distance, the shape, color and scale of new clustered structure of tetrahedral volumes is a continuation of the cluster of the surrounding rural buildings, visually extending into the heart of the complex. The new roof acts as a big summer shade and doesn't usurp any of the precious exterior space.
Enota was founded in 1998 with the ambition to create contemporary and critical architectural practice of an open type based on collective approach to development of architectural and urban solutions. Over the years Enota has been constantly developing and from its beginnings it has served as creative platform for more than fifty architects. Enota is led by founding partners and principal architects Dean Lah and Milan Tomac. Constant changes and new complex situations in the world around us drive us to think about new architectural and urban solutions. In order to be able to produce answers to those new questions we believe it’s time to surpass the boundaries of conventional discipline set mainly by our cultural backgrounds. Enota’s team of architects focuses on research driven design of the environment where study of contemporary social organizations and use of new technologies are interwoven to produce innovative and effective solutions. Enota’s solutions are strongly influenced by research, reinterpretation and development of social, organizational and design algorithms that derive from nature. The result is always a strong binding of the buildings with the environment that surrounds them.
Terme Olimia through their relaxation, health, beauty and wellness services realize their mission and create results. Looking forward, they will remain the only recognizable provider of well-being and a reborn life by investing in new acquisitions (Aqualuna, Termalija, Terme Tuhelj, new Hotel Sotelia, renovation of Breza Hotel and Wellness Orhidelia) and investing in new knowledge and education. Their aim is to become the best spa in the area between the Alps, the Adriatic and the Danube, and to transform the company in a direction that will enable the company to grow and develop in the long term and to play a leading role in the development of tourism in this area.
