Willows House offers space, light and order and it is also ambitious in the search of poetry. The design simple language opens out to reach the surrounding nature and looks at the two mature willow trees in the garden. The irregular form of the plot and the sloping terrain is dealt with a simple gesture, an elegant curved white wall. It becomes a sculptural accent in the garden underlining the willows but also providing flat lawn space. Behind the front door visitors enter into a large cavernous and transparent space. One immediately reads the function and order of the house.
