This project blends regional style with modern techniques; Built by the mountains, it is structured with lime plaster and stone wall, capable of blocking off the heat in summer while keeping the warmth during winter. The designer values and admires nature and combines nature, building and human residence into one, constructing building with local Taishan Stone to create a Hidden House featuring unique Northern temperament.

Jian Zhang was graduated from the Architecture Department of Shandong Architecture University in year 1995. He firstly worked in Dong Yi Ri Sheng Decoration, Jinan banch as the design director and started to focus on the interior design field since year 2005. In year 2014, he built up his own Warmth Design Studio in Jinan, China, and explored on creative space and residential space design. Warmth Design Studio is specialized in villa and cultrual creative space design. Warm and natural space, connections between the space and cultrual background are always the key concept which help it win many design awards.

Since the studio was founded, the designers have managed to design many places in special and unique thinking, either in the cities, hostels, mountain areas or by the seaside. They put their weight on the connection between space and nature and the feelings of people, and respect the local traditions and culture, so as to apply these ideas into their designs.
