The “H Chair” is a selected piece of the "interval" series by Xiaoyan Wei. Her inspiration came from free-flowing curves and forms in space. It changes the relationship of furniture and space by offering a variety of potentials to improve the user experience. The result was delicately made to balance between the comfort and the idea of breath. The use of the brass rods was not only for stabilization but also to deliver visual diversity to the design; it highlights the negative space made by two flowing curves with different linearity for the space to breath.
She is an spacial and furniture designer. She believe everything have its own story, and she is create spatial narratives which promote the interaction between people.
