The illustrations aim to bring the excitement and fun side of the Global Game Jam Macau to the audience. These series of illustrations describe what happened in the event. It illustrates how the participants work hard for the game development. The monster characters represents the struggles and challenges of the participants in the event. A jam jar that appears in the theme of each year represents the hint of "Game Jamming".
Peggy Cheang has got her Bachelor degree in Marketing at the University of Macau and the Master of Design at the University of Saint Joseph, Macau. In 2014, Peggy started Macau Digicreation that mainly provide branding design for events in Macau. Peggy has also created her illustration brand called Pegsion. Pegsion aims at sharing happiness and fun illustrations about life.
Game jam is a gathering of people for the purpose of planning, designing, and creating one or more games within a short span of time, usually ranging between 24 and 72 hours. Participants are generally made up of programmers, game designers, artists, writers, and others in game development-related fields.
