Kaïn's design of Celina came out of a problem he had encountered, portable speakers were either too outspoken or they had no identity at all. This is why Celina focuses on making a statement where it is placed down. It expresses luxury through the use of the materials. It expresses functionality by exposing and illuminating the 360° bass output. And it expresses unity because of the ring that molds around the upper part and flows down the center gap under the speaker.

Exploring different fields with a variety of products and materials can lead to designs that go further than the standard. Blending together natural and man-made materials in combination with rounded corners and soft edges, create an interesting emotion. These features are often represented in Kaïn’s design work.
