I am currently studied in Parsons School of Design for fashion design BFA program. One of my passions in life is doing handcraft and reading. I was heavily immersed in fantasy and this impending curiosity eventually made me highly capable of creating mental pictures. I like to try different things and explore the potential of materials. I always want to maintain the consistency of high standard and creativity among all my designs. I like to design and make new things to solve problems in my life.

Donna Chi

Donna Chi is currently studying Fashion Design in Parsons the New School. She was born in China and moved to Australia. The mixing culture and identity allow her to look into a different perspective and be more open-minded to cultural differences. Donna loves all art forms, such as illustrations, making toys, photography, and sculpture. She is constantly building up her experience by exploring new things and materials. Donna Chi developed her passion for design as a child, inspired by her grandmother's handcraft, she is heavily attracted to textile development. Fashion design provides a new platform for her to interpret emotional and visual concept into an actual garment. She had expended her personality through the process of mix and match textiles. She also step into toy making which she found it is a nice way to express her character. It evokes many new possibilities for both garments and herself. Drago Collective is the first art toy collection by her, who obtains the inspiration from ancient dragon. It is an art toy series that pursues work with playfulness.
