AirNanny is designed by parents for their children. The main goal was to create a device that performs all the necessary functions to create healthy air in the nursery. This device effectively ventilates the room even if windows are closed. Refreshes air by filtering dust, gases, odors, allergens, formaldehydes, viruses, bacteria, human skin cells, dust, animal fur, odors etc. The device also can warms up the air. Unlike other devices for ventilation AirNanny also humidifies the air. Mixing of mist and fresh air excludes appearing of over-humidification areas in the room.
Olga Kalugina is industrial designer from Moscow, Russia. She works in various fields, the main ones are lighting, medical equipment and household appliances. Olga has a master’s degree in industrial design and has been working in this field since 2009. She works with client from different countries. Many of her works were awarded in international design competitions. The main thing in design process for Olga is to find a balance between ergonomics, functionality, aesthetics and manufacturability.
Two companies are developing the AirNanny project - «Mikroklimatika» LLC, located in Russia, and «MagicAir», which is located in China. «MagicAir» Ltd. is engaged in industrialization of the project and interaction with manufacturing contractors in China. «Mikroklimatika» LLC is engaged in the production of industrial ventilation equipment. Now the company employs about 15 people. The peculiarity is that the company's employees work remotely from different cities and even countries.
