The inspiration for creation of the calendar was the energy of young, creative people taking part in the international Lodz Young Fashion Award event. The project combines a metallic cover referring to the mirror, an inseparable tool of every fashion designer, fluorescent colors that encourage and inspire action and provide a lot of free space for the creative search. It starts with the date of this year's contest and ends with the date of the next edition of the event. It has the character of a personal diary, its idea is to accompany participants and fans of the contest throughout the year.

The Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz is a higher education institution for all those who would like to enter a profession in the field of fine arts and design. The Academy’s six faculties offer 8 courses and various art and design majors, including nationwide unique programmes in fashion design, jewellery design as well as theatre, film and television techniques. The Interdisciplinary PhD Studies enable students to gain advanced knowledge in two artistic disciplines: fine arts and design arts (majors in graphic art, painting, textile and fashion, industrial design, interior design; specializations in printmaking, graphic design, multimedia, easel painting, drawing, fashion design jewellery design, textile design, printed textile design, product design and visual system design).
