Identity Villa is set on a small plot with lots of constrains,it is an experiment for modern extensions,to express the spirit and characteristics of the old building with modern language. The concept is to strongly and obviously separate yet link the extension from the existing structure. The imperfection of craftsmanship and the way people circulate and interact with the old house should be echoed in the new addition,answering the modern lifestyle needs. The resulting villa holds the identity of the past with modern language. It holds new approaches and different perspectives for extensions.

Paseo Architecture was established in Lebanon, in 2011. The founder is the Architect Tarek Ibrahim, He perceives Architecture as a story telling and new experience, He believes that there is Architecture when there is a poetic story to tell. The space should be able to talk to you and tell a story. At Paseo Architecture with every mile stone in design phase the client will have a special story to share with others. Paseo in Spanish means Promenade, as well as for Paseo team it stands for Passion, Awesome, Special, Elegant, and Original that is their approach to architecture. After Tarek Ibrahim was able to apply his theory in the designs at Paseo architecture, he was awarded at the Kotinos International award held by United Nations, for excellence in Architecture for 2018, for his ability to apply his theory in spaces having higher standard and better quality of living for humans. Paseo was recognized as one of the most influential design offices in Lebanon. Paseo proudly designed several projects in the Arab peninsula, through their two offices in Lebanon and Oman Sultanate. The projects varies from residential, commercial, to industrial.
