The latest undisclosed archaeological findings of China are on display here. These exhibits have a long history from prehistory to Tang and Song Dynasties, and they are cultural heritage protected by the state. In order to show the new style and the latest research results of Shaanxi Academy of Archaeology, Wilbur Studio carried out the exhibition hall design in 2018. The exhibition is composed of four sections: Discovery, Idea, Science and Technology, Cultural Protection. The new display space design will bring new visual experience.

Shaanxi Provincial Institute Of Archaeology adheres to the purpose of exploration, protection, inheritance and promotion, takes the protection of cultural heritage, the excavation of cultural relics value, the disclosure of ancient civilization, and the improvement of discipline construction as its own responsibility, and constantly innovates working concepts and methods, and has reaped the fruitful results of Shaanxi archaeology. The main line of the exhibition project is major archaeological excavation, cultural relic protection and scientific and technological archaeological research. It displays the latest archaeological discovery and scientific research achievements of our institute from four dimensions of discovery, concept, science and technology, and cultural protection. The exhibition line is roughly divided into eight parts: Prehistory, Shang and Zhou dynasties, Qin and Han Dynasties, Wei, Jin, Sui and Tang Dynasties, song and Yuan Dynasties, cultural protection technology, Mausoleum of Emperor Han and Tang Dynasties, specimen display (tile, bronze mirror, porcelain piece). The exhibition of each part is mainly carried out by means of text description, line map or photo marking and display of cultural relics. Combined with the results of scientific excavation, the text part summarizes the vertical and horizontal relationship and academic value of archaeological culture and historical culture.
