The Luminaire is a tiny home on wheels, designed with function and sustainability in mind. With an interior width of 7.5 feet and length of 27 feet, this micro-dwelling is designed for full-time living. Unlike most wheeled tiny homes, The Luminaire offers many of the amenities found in traditional homes, such as a full kitchen, standard sofa, fireplace, full bathtub, 7.5 foot wide closet, vanity area for dressing, standing height in the master bedroom, a full-size washer and dryer, a guest sleeping loft with a king size bed, a separate dining area & 14 windows to maximize daylighting.
The design client, Erin Adams, wanted to live a more sustainable lifestyle and simplify her life. She sought a tiny home designed for her specific needs, with the primary goal of not having to give up the amenities found in traditional housing. Christened “The Luminaire”, because of its 14 windows, Erin Adams has now successfully reduced her carbon footprint and is delighted to be living large in her 265 square foot tiny home on wheels.
